PHASE 2 — SEARCH ENRICHMENT & MARKETPLACE POPULATION

Source It Here is designed to grow into a marketplace populated by businesses, products and service providers.

During the early growth stage, however, there may be searches where Source It Here does not yet have enough native listings to return useful results.

Phase 2 will introduce a Search Enrichment & Marketplace Population system so that users are still presented with useful, relevant search results while the Source It Here community grows.

The purpose is to avoid empty or unhelpful search experiences and make the platform useful and active from launch, while continuing to prioritise businesses and products that have joined Source It Here directly.

This phase is focused on:

Search usefulnessMarketplace growthProduct and service discoveryReducing empty search resultsImproving user experienceSupporting the platform's early growth stageCreating pathways for new businesses to join Source It Here

Deliverable 1 — Product Search Enrichment

A fallback product discovery layer for searches where Source It Here does not yet have sufficient native product listings.

  • •Integration with an appropriate affiliate product provider/feed where technically and commercially suitable.
  • •Amazon affiliate integration may be investigated, subject to Amazon's current eligibility, API access and programme requirements.
  • •The architecture will not rely exclusively on Amazon if another compliant affiliate/data source is more appropriate.
  • •Relevant external/affiliate products can appear when Source It Here does not have enough native results.
  • •Affiliate/external products will be clearly distinguishable from native Source It Here listings where appropriate.
  • •Affiliate tracking links will be supported where available.
  • •Native Source It Here products will remain prioritised as the marketplace grows.
  • •Sensible fallback behaviour, so a user searching for a product is less likely to receive a completely empty results page.

Example: a visitor searches for “black school shoes”

If Source It Here has appropriate native sellers/products

→ Show Source It Here results first.

If there are insufficient Source It Here results

→ Supplement the search with suitable external/affiliate products.

The system will be structured so that dependency on external products naturally reduces as Source It Here acquires more native sellers and products.

Deliverable 2 — Business & Service Discovery

A business/service discovery fallback for categories where Source It Here does not yet have sufficient registered businesses.

Examples could include:

HairdressersPlumbersElectriciansBeauty businessesTutorsCleanersLocal tradesProfessional services
  • •Where technically appropriate, the system will be capable of finding relevant businesses using an approved third-party business/location data provider.
  • •External/unclaimed businesses will be clearly identified within the system, so they are not presented misleadingly as registered Source It Here members.
  • •Where appropriate, a subtle “Is this your business? Claim your profile” CTA will appear against eligible unclaimed business results.
  • •The Claim Your Profile CTA can direct the business owner into the existing free business registration/onboarding pathway.

Example: a visitor searches “hairdresser near me”

If Source It Here already has relevant registered businesses

→ Prioritise Source It Here businesses.

If there are insufficient Source It Here listings

→ Supplement the results with relevant external business discovery results.

Important — what this Phase 2 quotation includes

This Phase 2 quotation includes the search/discovery functionality and the ability to identify an unclaimed result.

It does NOT include automated outbound email prospecting, automated business-contact enrichment, automated nurture campaigns, automated messages telling businesses how many users have searched for them, or CRM prospecting automation. These features may form part of a future Phase 3 growth/automation project and are not included within this £4,000 Phase 2 scope.

Search Priority Logic

User searches
1. Search Source It Here native listings
2. Show relevant Source It Here results
3. If native results are limited, activate search enrichment
4. Supplement with relevant product or business results
5. Encourage eligible businesses to join / claim their free Source It Here profile

As the Source It Here marketplace grows, native Source It Here listings should increasingly take priority. This allows Source It Here to provide useful search results during its growth phase while gradually becoming less reliant on external fallback results as more businesses, sellers and products join the platform.

What Phase 2 achieves

No dead-end searches

Reduce the likelihood of visitors seeing empty search pages during the marketplace's early growth period.

Better first impressions

Give early users something useful and relevant to discover from the beginning.

Product discovery

Supplement limited marketplace inventory with appropriate affiliate/external products where necessary.

Local business discovery

Help users discover relevant businesses and services even while the Source It Here directory is growing.

Business acquisition opportunity

Turn eligible discovered/unclaimed businesses into potential Source It Here registrations through a Claim Your Profile pathway.

Built to scale

As Source It Here gains its own businesses and sellers, native listings increasingly become the primary search results.

Lawson Her Vision will not activate or commit the client to any paid third-party service without approval.

Scope / technical discovery note. Some external product and business-data providers have individual eligibility requirements, API restrictions, usage limits, approval processes and commercial terms. As part of implementation, Lawson Her Vision will identify and implement an appropriate compliant solution for Source It Here. Where a proposed provider is unavailable, unsuitable or requires additional commercial approval, an appropriate alternative approach will be recommended before implementation. This quotation is for development and implementation of the Phase 2 Search Enrichment & Marketplace Population solution. Terms & Conditions

Project Terms
Agreement version 1.0

This is the long, legal version.

It says the same things as the easy steps above — just in formal words. You don't need to read it all in one go.

SOURCE IT HERE MARKETPLACE MVP
Development & Handover — Project Terms

This document records the commercial agreement for the design, development, delivery and handover of the Source It Here Marketplace MVP between Lawson Her Vision ("we", "Lawson Her Vision") and the Client named below ("you", "the Client"). It is intended to be read together with the review portal, which summarises the same terms in plain English.

1. THE DELIVERED MVP
Lawson Her Vision has designed, developed and delivered the Source It Here marketplace MVP against the core Phase 1 requirements identified in the Client's September 2026 business plan. The delivered platform is available for review at the temporary Lawson Her Vision project address stated on the portal. The foundations listed on the portal are included within the agreed price.

2. REVISIONS — COMPLETED
This first phase included one revision round. That revision round has been completed, and all requested alterations have been made. Any new alterations requested after this point are additional work and will incur additional costs. Lawson Her Vision will always confirm and agree the cost of any new alterations with the Client before that work begins.

3. THE FIRST PHASE PAYMENT
The first phase payment for the work completed is £1,300. It has now been received in full.

4. OWNERSHIP BEFORE FULL PAYMENT
Until the first phase payment is made in full, Lawson Her Vision retains ownership and control of the custom development work and transferable project files created by Lawson Her Vision, subject to any third-party rights and platform licences. The Client may use the Source It Here site for the agreed business purpose during this time. The Client retains ownership of materials she supplied herself, including Source It Here branding supplied by her, her written business material, her original logos/assets, her business information and client-owned content.

5. OWNERSHIP AFTER FULL PAYMENT
Once the first phase payment has been received in full, Lawson Her Vision will provide or assign the agreed transferable rights in the custom MVP deliverables, subject to third-party software licences, underlying platform terms and non-transferable third-party services. Lawson Her Vision will provide: transferable/exportable Source It Here project files and assets available from the platform; client-owned content and assets; and reasonable handover information. Lawson Her Vision does not guarantee transfer of proprietary third-party platform technology that it does not legally own or have permission to transfer.

6. CONNECTION AFTER FULL PAYMENT
Upon receipt of the first phase payment in full, Lawson Her Vision will complete, within 5–7 working days: the full connection of the official Source It Here domain, supplied by the Client and held with the Client's domain registrar (GoDaddy); and the set-up of the Client's business email account. Any payment-taking through the website will be set up separately with the Client, once the Client's preferred payment details are provided. The Client may request transfer or control of the Source It Here domain at any time after full payment, subject to registrar requirements.

7. HOSTING
The website requires hosting to remain online. Hosting is charged at £19.99 per month to cover hosting costs. Hosting is set up upon connection of the Client's domain, and the first payment of £19.99 is due at that point. Subsequent payments of £19.99 then fall due monthly thereafter. Hosting covers keeping the website online and accessible; it does not include new features, Phase 2 development, redesign work, or the additional items listed on the client portal.

8. FUTURE DEVELOPMENT (PHASE 2)
The Client's business plan contains future features beyond the current Phase 1 MVP, such as managed sourcing, advanced procurement tools, enterprise sourcing accounts, sophisticated matching, a native mobile application, integrated marketplace transactions, transaction commission, logistics/delivery integrations, advanced lead-fee models and additional automation. These are not included in the first phase payment. Any Phase 2 development requires a separate scope and separate quotation/agreement.

9. ACCEPTANCE
By typing her name and confirming the statements on the portal, the Client accepts these project terms. The version of the terms accepted at that time is stored with the acceptance record and is not overwritten by later edits.

10. GENERAL
This document records the commercial agreement between the parties and does not affect any statutory rights. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the Client's pre-existing intellectual property to Lawson Her Vision, and nothing transfers ownership of third-party platform technology to the Client.
