This is the public summary of the Imara Events Franchisee Agreement. The full signed version, including fee schedules and territory definitions, is issued to approved applicants after the expression of interest is reviewed.
This Franchise Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Lawson Her Vision Ltd ("Franchisor") and the undersigned franchisee ("Franchisee"). The Franchisee is granted a non-exclusive licence to operate a local territory under the trade name "Imara Events" — a women-led events and talent staffing brand connecting vetted freelancers with event opportunities.
Franchisor grants Franchisee the right to use the Imara Events name, branding, talent database, job-board platform, onboarding workflow, and operating manuals within a defined UK territory. The licence is for a fixed term and is non-transferable without prior written consent.
Franchisee pays an initial franchise fee plus a monthly royalty based on gross revenue generated through the territory. All fees, payment schedules, and minimum performance targets are set out in Schedule A and agreed before signing.
Franchisor will provide the brand assets, the live talent platform, recruiter training, the young-worker compliance framework, lead generation support, and quarterly business reviews to help the Franchisee launch and grow the territory.
Franchisee will operate the territory in good faith, maintain the Imara Events service standard, enforce the 17+ registration gate and UK young-worker protections, remit royalties on time, and protect the reputation of the brand at all times.
Because Imara Events engages workers aged 17+, the Franchisee must uphold all UK working-time, safeguarding, and age-gating rules supplied by Franchisor — including night-work restrictions, alcohol/bar 18+ enforcement, and hazardous-work exclusions. Breach of compliance obligations is grounds for termination.
The initial term is a fixed period from the commencement date. The Agreement may be renewed on revised terms by mutual written agreement, subject to the Franchisee meeting minimum performance and compliance benchmarks.
Either party may terminate for material breach subject to a cure period. Franchisor may terminate immediately for safeguarding failures, brand damage, or unpaid royalties. On termination the Franchisee ceases all use of the Imara Events name and assets.
All trademarks, logos, platform code, manuals, and course materials remain the property of Lawson Her Vision Ltd. The Franchisee receives a usage licence only for the term of this Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
