Your action plan
Your action plan
You can use this roadmap to organise your own marketing. It explains what to do, how to approach it and how often to review your progress. You can start small and build consistency as you become more confident.
Weeks 1–2 — Get ready
Setup and planningA streaming-release checklist explains the steps needed to distribute the music. Distribution and acceptance by streaming platforms are never guaranteed, and any distribution fees are separate.
Record your starting figures
Open the analytics available on each existing account. Record subscribers, followers, views and plays, with the date and measurement period. Mark unavailable figures as “Not available”.
Output: One starting-point sheet
How often: Once initially, then update weekly.
Make the project easy to recognise
Write down how The Long Game, Mastery and Renaissance Creative Group relate. Use consistent names, profile images, descriptions and links.
Output: One short brand reference
How often: Initial setup, then review when needed.
Review your songs and films
List the eight tracks and existing films. Note strong lyrics, useful visual moments and the questions each track raises.
Output: A bank of ideas for short clips
How often: Initial review, then add ideas as you learn.
Explore the audience
Review relevant public creators and conversations. Note recurring money questions and which themes relate to your music. Treat the proposed audiences as ideas to test.
Output: Four simple audience profiles and initial content angles
How often: Initial research, then revisit at weeks 6 and 12.
Improve your accounts and website
Add clear descriptions, platform links, useful playlists and a clear listening destination. Set up TikTok and Instagram if needed. Choose an email signup or WhatsApp Channel route.
Output: Connected accounts and a clear next step for interested listeners
How often: Initial setup, then check links monthly.
Plan your first four weeks of publishing
Use a calendar with columns for track, clip idea, platform, caption, next-step link, publication date and status.
Output: A realistic publishing calendar
How often: Create initially, then review weekly.
Weeks 3–12 — Publishing weeks
40 original short clips in ten publishing weeksCreate original short clips
Choose a lyric, question or film moment, pair it with a visual, cut a vertical edit and add readable captions. Adapt each clip for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Output: 40 original short clips — 18 in weeks 3–6, 16 in weeks 7–10, 6 in weeks 11–12
How often: The plan averages four clips per publishing week, with some variation between stages.
Make full-length lyric or visualiser videos
Produce full-length videos for the six album tracks that have no existing film, using editing tools you are comfortable with.
Output: 6 full-length videos
How often: According to the programme calendar.
Post carousels
Turn your strongest messages into swipeable image-and-text posts for TikTok and Instagram.
Output: 6 carousel posts
How often: According to the programme calendar.
Send personalised outreach
Write individual messages to relevant creators and organisations, each with one clear idea for working together, and follow up appropriately on replies.
Output: 20 personalised approaches, recorded in a tracker
How often: Steady progress across the programme.
Keep the community warm
Send updates by email or WhatsApp Channel as the project reaches milestones.
Output: 3 community updates
How often: At the agreed checkpoints.
Review
Weekly notes, plus checkpoints at weeks 4, 6, 8 and 12Record the week's figures
Update your baseline sheet with the week's views, followers, clicks and best-performing post.
Output: An up-to-date baseline sheet
How often: Weekly, on a day that suits you.
Review progress at the checkpoints
Compare figures with your baseline and decide what to test next.
Output: Checkpoint notes
How often: At weeks 4, 6, 8 and 12.
Wrap up the programme
Write the final results, prepare a plan for the next three months, and organise files, templates and account access for the future.
Output: Final results and a three-month plan
How often: Once at the end.
Create your first short clip
One worked example, using an existing track, so you can time it and plan a realistic weekly commitment.
- Choose one strong line or moment from Drip vs Assets.
- Pair it with an existing visual you have permission to use.
- Create a short vertical edit; start with approximately 15–30 seconds and adjust as you learn.
- Add readable captions.
- Try an opening question such as: “Are you buying the image—or building ownership?”
- Finish with one clear invitation: “Hear the full track through the link on our profile.” Use a destination link or related-video feature appropriate to the platform.
- Preview the clip on a phone before publishing.
- After seven days, record its views, shares, comments and available viewing data.
- Note one thing to test differently in the next clip.
The suggested question and invitation are example marketing copy, not quotations from the song. No lyrics, endorsements or results are invented in this plan.
The time required depends on your experience, tools and the complexity of each edit. Time your first clip and use that to plan a realistic weekly commitment. Batch similar tasks and schedule ahead where possible.
Plan your weekly time
Enter your own estimates after timing your first clip. Nothing is pre-filled.
Your estimated weekly time: 0 hours per week
You can implement this plan yourself
You can use this roadmap to organise your own marketing, building your skills as you go. The main commitment is making time for regular editing, publishing, conversations and reviewing results.
If you would prefer to focus on creating the music, Lawson Her Vision can manage the agreed programme for you. You retain creative ownership and approve the direction. We manage the agreed production and publishing.
No part of this programme requires you to show your face. Optional voice notes or behind-the-scenes material remain your choice.
Weekly checklist
A weekly checklist you can save
A suggested routine for each publishing week. Print it, tick it off, or adapt it to your own week.
Monday
- Review last week's results.
- Choose this week's lyrics, moments and questions.
Tuesday and Wednesday
- Create and check the week's short clips.
- Adapt captions and next-step links for each platform.
Before the planned publication dates
- Schedule or publish the approved clips.
- Check that links and captions work.
Five weekdays
- Check comments and respond to relevant questions.
- Record useful audience questions for future content.
During the week
- Send personalised outreach messages, working towards 20 across the programme.
- Follow up appropriately on replies.
Friday
- Record the week's figures.
- Note the strongest post and one lesson.
- Decide what to test next.
At the scheduled checkpoints
- Publish the six full-length videos and six carousels according to the programme calendar.
- Send the three community updates.
- Review progress at weeks 4, 6, 8 and 12.
This routine is a suggested structure you can adapt. It does not guarantee audience growth.

How our team does it for you
We will turn your existing music into short clips that help people discover The Long Game. Those clips will lead interested viewers towards your full songs, films and website.
We will also make your accounts easier to understand, connect the platforms together, reply to comments, approach relevant creators and organisations, and check which content is working.
You will be able to see what has been completed, what is coming next and how the audience is responding through your client portal.
1. Get the project ready
Review the music, identify the audience and improve the accounts and website.
2. Publish regularly
Create and share short videos and full-length lyric videos.
3. Learn and improve
Compare results and make more of the formats people respond to.
4. Review and hand over
Explain the results and provide the files, templates and next steps.
We first use a strong lyric, visual or question to catch attention, then give people a clear way to hear the deeper message.
The audiences we will test
Primary
Young Black men aged 18–30, initially in the UK, interested in money, ambition, ownership and building a better future.
Secondary
Parents, mentors, teachers, community leaders and professionals who may share the music with others.
Partnership
Youth organisations, mentoring groups, schools, churches and financial-education organisations.
We will test which audiences and messages respond best rather than assuming every song will appeal to everyone.
What you receive

- •Payments are linked to completion of the agreed work. Audience-growth targets guide the campaign, but reaching a particular follower or view count is not a condition of milestone payment.
- •If a report or milestone is late, its review and payment dates move with it.
- •If a promised deliverable is incomplete, it is recorded and resolved before the corresponding milestone is approved.
- •Future milestones are never charged automatically, and silence is never treated as acceptance.
- •You can review a milestone, approve it, raise a question or request a correction, and pay the approved milestone.
- •At the final meeting we record completed items and any agreed outstanding actions. The final payment date moves if the meeting is rescheduled.
Separate costs
Your project fee covers our team's work. Any advertising or external service costs are agreed separately before spending.
Optional advertising
- Suggested optional budget: £450 in total, as three tests of approximately £150 each.
- The first test runs no earlier than week 5.
- Advertising spend is paid directly by you where possible.
- Every test requires your written approval of its budget and purpose.
- The programme runs fully without paid advertising if you prefer. Reports identify which results came from paid activity.
Other possible costs
- Music distribution
- An upgraded Carrd plan if needed
- Additional design or AI tools
- Optional paid creator collaborations
- Email platform charges if the free plan becomes insufficient
These are possible extra costs, not included in the project fee. Each one is agreed with you before any money is spent, and no unapproved expense is added.
